Pray without ceasing. – 1 Thessalonians 5:17
Never suspend the regular offering of prayer. You will, if you are a watchful Christian, have your times of daily devotion, fixed not by superstition, but for your convenience and remembrance; just as David, three times a day, and as another saint, seven times a day, sought the Lord: now be sure to keep up this daily prayer without intermission. This advice will not comprehend the whole range of the text, I am not pretending that it does; I am only mentioning it now as supplementary to other thoughts. “Pray without ceasing;” that is, never give up the morning prayer, nor the evening prayer, nor the prayer at midday if such has grown to be your habit. If you change hours and times, as you may, yet keep up the practice of regularly recurring retirement, meditation, and prayer. You may be said to continue in prayer if your habitual devotions be maintained…Though all hours are alike to me, I find it profitable to meet with God at set periods, for these seem to me to be like the winding up of the clock. The clock is to go all day, but there is a time for winding it up; and the little special season that we set apart and hedge round about for communion with our God, seems to wind us up for the rest of the day. Therefore, if you would pray without ceasing, continue in the offering of the morning and the evening sacrifice, and let it be perpetually an ordinance with you, that your times of prayer are not broken in upon.~ C.H. Spurgeon

No, they haven’t changed and I am no longer accepting her comments. They are Latter Rain/NAR garbage. The other day she made a comment that was biblically unsound, about the fire of God and so I did my research and it led to the Manifest Sons/Latter Rain/NAR cult.

Does she not care about sound doctrine or am I wrong?

She thinks she is believing sound doctrine. When you know no other doctrine of truth you believe the one you believe in is the truth.

Yes I agree she is wrong like Smith right and Mormonism.

Right. In her case, or their case, it is George Warnock. Here is the teaching she was quoting from:

All it takes is for something to sound a bit off that you wonder where the scriptures are to support what is being said. Usually its something “new” that you’ve never heard of before that gets you to look up what in the world they are talking about. It pays to know the scriptures.

Yes I agree it’s like I was looking at sounded Biblical with the Bible Verses and all but it’s long when he gets to the Seven Spirits he talks about later rain ok look up what it says about them in the Word and nope Later Rain isn’t there.

Like what Mormonism does or Joel Osteen right just a bit of truth to make it sound good when really it’s false but the make you dig and look for it.

It’s no different than what James and Lea from YouTube says they try and put us back under the Law but they don’t come out and say it instead it’s if we aren’t following the Torah were Lawless but we are not under the Law but Grace.
