is the source of all wisdom, and the fountain of all comfort; let it dwell in you richly, as a well of living water, springing up unto everlasting life
This is such an excellent sermon, Sherry. The people really needed to hear this on that particular Sunday. If my counting is correct, the SS Princess Alice disaster happened on Tuesday of the same week. This sermon brings back memories of the first time I read a sermon by Mr. Spurgeon. It had a great effect on me then and this sermon was no different. I think, apart from scripture, I have learned more from him than any man.
Thank you for sharing this and for sharing the Sermon Text as well. I will be re-blogging this a bit later tonight.
May God bless and keep you…

No need to reblog, just post the video and text directly from the sites. I do appreciate it though. 🙂
I am glad the history was given behind this sermon. It speaks to today, also.
God bless you, Chris, amen!

Oops. I’ve already got the post ready, Sherry. I do appreciate your offer for me to do otherwise though.
Yes, the history behind this sermon makes a big difference. It does, indeed, speak to today.
Thank you for your kind words.
God’ bless you as well, Sherry! 😊
